Why follow the path

Each year sets up the next

Colleges look at all four years of high school. The course taken in Grade 9 decides what is possible in Grade 11, and the activities started early are the ones with a real story by senior year. The packages are built in that order on purpose.

Start in any grade. Each package is complete on its own, and each one sets up the next.

Grades 9–12 · one path

01

Grades 9–10 set the foundation

Course sequences, activity choices and study habits get fixed early. Early Foundations keeps doors open while there is still time.

02

Grade 11 builds the plan

The college list, the testing plan and the résumé all come together. Momentum gets them done before senior year.

03

Grade 12 delivers the application

Complete Application takes every essay and form from first draft to submission, with a final review before anything is sent.

04

Highly selective lists need more

Concierge adds narrative strategy, ED/EA planning, unlimited revisions and mock interviews for up to 12 schools.

Early Foundations: a plan for the next two years

Your child works with one counselor through 9th and 10th grade. Together they choose the right classes, pick activities worth sticking with, and build a plan you can both see.

Two school years One dedicated counselorWritten review each year

One counselor, both years – no re-explaining your child’s story to someone new.

Profile assessment

We start by getting to know your child — grades, interests, strengths and how they learn. You receive it in writing, and everything else is built from it.

Academic and course planning

Classes mapped year by year through Grade 12: which subjects when, which prerequisites matter, and where honors or AP makes sense.

Extracurricular and leadership planning

A few activities worth staying with, and a plan to go deeper over time. A real record of commitment, not a longer list.

Annual progress check-ins

Once a year we review what happened and plan the next twelve months. Parents see the same picture the student does.

Grade 11 Momentum: the year it all comes together

Junior year is when the college list, the test plan and the résumé all have to line up. This package gives your child a personalized roadmap and gets those three pieces ready before senior year starts.

Grade 11 school year One strategy session includedReady for senior year

Personalized admissions roadmap

A written plan for the rest of high school built around your child’s goals, grades and timeline, so every decision this year has a reason.

College list development

A balanced list of reach, target and likely schools, researched against fit, cost and your child’s profile rather than rankings alone.

SAT / ACT planning

Which test to take, when to sit it, and the score range to aim for. The plan, not the tutoring — tutoring is a separate service.

Activities list and résumé

Your child’s activities turned into a clear, well-written record that is ready to drop into applications next fall.

One strategy session

A focused session to pressure-test the plan: the list, the testing timeline and what senior year needs to look like.

Senior year starts with a finished list and a résumé that is already written.

Complete Application: from first draft to submit

Everything senior year needs in one package. The Common App from setup to submission, supplemental essays for up to eight schools, interview preparation and a final review before anything is sent.

Senior-year application cycle Up to 8 supplemental essay setsFinal review before submitting

Senior year starts with a finished list and a résumé that is already written.

Common App, setup to submission

Account setup, every section completed accurately, and the application tracked through to the moment it is sent.

Up to 8 supplemental essay sets

School-specific essays for up to eight colleges, drafted and revised so each one answers the question that school is actually asking.

Activities list

Your child’s activities written to the Common App’s tight limits without losing what makes them stand out.

Interview preparation

Practice for alumni and admissions interviews: likely questions, how to talk about your child’s story, and what to ask back.

Final application review

A line-by-line check of every form and essay before submission, so small errors do not undo a strong application.

Submission support

Deadlines tracked across every school and help on submission day, so nothing is late and nothing is missing.

Common questions

Questions parents ask

Have more questions? We’ll cover them on your free call.

Which package should we start with?
Match it to the student’s current grade. If you are between two – a rising senior who has not done any list work, for example – bring it to the free call and we will tell you which one actually fits rather than which one costs more.

No. Ninth grade is when course sequences, activity choices, and study habits get set, and all three are hard to change later. Starting early is not about applying early. It is about making sure nothing gets ruled out by accident.

Yes. Grade-level packages can be split across the cycle. We set the schedule before any work begins so there are no surprises.
You commit before you can compare offers. Colleges will generally release a family that genuinely cannot afford the package, but that should never be the plan. If cost is a deciding factor for you, early decision is usually the wrong instrument and we will say so.
Yes. If a junior on Momentum moves up to Complete Application in the fall, what you have already paid is credited toward the larger package.
No. Packages include testing strategy – which tests, when to sit them, what score range to target. Hourly tutoring is a separate service.
Complete Application covers the Common App plus up to 8 supplemental essay sets. Highly Selective Concierge extends to 12 schools with unlimited revisions.
Concierge includes everything in Complete Application, then adds advanced narrative strategy, Early Decision and Early Action planning, unlimited essay revisions, mock interviews and coverage for up to 12 schools.
Often yes, though the plan changes. On the free call we will tell you honestly whether a package is the right use of your money at this point, or whether a single service would do.
No, and nobody honestly can. What we commit to is a plan built on good decisions and an application that reflects your child accurately.
